Description.

‘The difference between the movies and reality? In real life, I was the monster. Faythe Sanders looks like an ordinary student, but she’s hiding a dark secret: she is a werecat, a powerful supernatural predator. Yet headstrong, independent Faythe resents her power, heading to college to escape her family and her overprotective ex, Marc. That is until a stray – a dangerous werecat without a pride or territory – catches her scent. With two werecat girls already missing, Faythe is summoned home for her own protection. But Faythe will do whatever it takes to find her kidnapped kin. She has claws – and she’s not afraid to use them.’

This book is so SO similar to ‘The Women of the underworld’ series by Kelly Armstrong, which i absolutely loved. So i just had to read this. Both Books focus on having strong females, they are rare in the shifter world, both have ran away from their prides and do not want to return. Oh, and also have a dominant Male waiting for them.

“Yes, you are. Loud, Stubborn, and infuriating at times, but almost too beautiful to look at.”

The beginning was a little slow and i couldn’t really connect with the characters but as it went on it got better and better. I love everyone in the family, they were all so loving and they had each other backs no matter what. I do think that Jace was the most interesting, i cant wait to see what happens there.

Faythe was a tad annoying at the start. She acted like a child most of the time, and she didn’t appreciate anything, she was like a spoilt little brat. She only ran away because she couldn’t deal with her responsibility’s and her family. Because she couldn’t get her own way all the time. So stupid. That aside, she was pretty Bad-ass when it came to getting down and dirty with the fighting. She certainly knows how to beat the shit out of someone. She don’t take no shit either. My kind of girl.

“If you have a problem with me, by all means let me know. Throwing fits in front of the entire pride was one thing when you were fifteen, but you’re an adult now, so start acting like it.”

Her and Marc was like going in a maze, you didn’t know where to turn. Or what was coming next. One minute she was hating on him and lashing out at him then she slept with him! She got pissed up and decided that she did in fact want his Wang. Like what?! And she has a boyfriend back at school! *Eye Roll* Skank.

So Overall, i did really enjoy this book, i have even re-read it a couple of times over the years. You can read it so many times yet it will always feel like the first time. It’s one of those books that you can easily get lost in and never want to come back out.
