I love Vi keeland. Her books are amazing, i haven’t read one that i have not loved. There is literally no stopping me when i see she had another book out, i just have to have it.
I fell hard for this book. It was amazing! Rachel is a feisty TA with a very horrible past that she likes to keep hidden. She was bad-ass, even though her past was so shitty she doesn’t let it control her future at all. She does want she wants, when she want. So like i said, Bad-ass bitch.
Caine is a pissy Professor who also has a shitty past, who also likes to keeps hidden. I felt so sorry for him, having to carry that guilt for all those years, blaming himself. ~ I love how they met, Caine getting a bollocking from a stranger that is Rachel for something that he didn’t do. Rachel went in hard, she didn’t give a fuck. Well until she found out he was the wrong guy, that was funny.
Rachel thought that she would never have to see him again but that didn’t go as planned. As she is he TA and he is her Professor. ~ The book flowed so well and it captures your attention from the very first page.
I loved the flashbacks, Seeing Caine with the young girl at the church. That made the story so much better, seeing why he is such a pissy person. As the story went on you got to understand him more and i actually felt so sorry for him, seeing the pain he felt.
I was so shocked at the twisted. i was not excepting that. Was deffo not excepting that. When she flipped the coin i was like “Oh my shit, it cant be?!” I couldn’t believe it. How fate brought them back together so many years later.
So 5 Massive Stars for this one. Rachel and Caine are perfect, Vi done so well writing it and creating them for all of us to read. For me she is one of the best Authors for NA. I cant wait too see what she comes up with next and will defiantly be pre-ordering it. Vi Keeland, please never stop writing.
