Description…
‘It started out like any other morning on the train.
Until I became mesmerised by the guy sitting across the aisle.
He was barking at someone on his phone like he ruled the world.
Who did the stuck-up suit think he was…God?
Actually, he looked like a God. That was about it.
When his stop came, he got up suddenly and left. So suddenly, he dropped his phone on the way out.
I might have picked it up.
I might have gone through all of his photos and called some of the numbers.
I might have held onto the mystery man’s phone for days―until I finally conjured up the courage to return it.
When I traipsed my ass across town to his fancy company, he refused to see me.
So, I left the phone on the empty desk outside the arrogant jerk’s office.
I might have also left behind a dirty picture on it first though.
I didn’t expect him to text back.
I didn’t expect our exchanges to be hot as hell.
I didn’t expect to fall for him―all before we even met.
The two of us couldn’t have been any more different.
Yet, you know what they say about opposites.
When we finally came face to face, we found out opposites sometimes do more than attract―we consumed each other.
Nothing could have prepared me for the ride he took me on. And I certainly wasn’t prepared for where I’d wind up when the ride was over.
All good things must come to an end, right?
Except our ending was one I didn’t see coming.’
5 Stars. 5 Massive Stars. 5 Billion Stars.
Ahhhhh. Another fave. I loved loved loved this! It was amazing, Vi certainly knows how to write a book. Haven’t read a bad one yet, i absolutely love all of them. I did not want to put it down, even to sleep.
Graham is a dick-head and there is no denying it when you first meet him, he was a vile person but as you learn his story and discover the man underneath you find a warm, loving, funny man who accepts people but just not in his business. Soraya has been hurt by the most Important man in any girls life, her Father. She is always quick to call Graham out on his attitude and throws attitude right back at him.
“Who the fuck do you think you are…The Wizard of Oz? I’m pretty sure I’d have easier access to Queen Elizabeth.”
Soraya was a bad-ass who wasn’t scared to tell it how it is. She happily told Graham what a douche he was. I loved how she done her hair and the meanings for it. It was so easy to fall in this book, Soraya and Graham was perfect, it was fast paced and it kept your attention from the first page.
“I want you. I want to be with you. I’m head over fucking ass about you, and I need to know you aren’t going to leave me.”
What happened shocked the shit out of me, i couldn’t believe it. How someone could do that i don’t know. Graham was so good about it all, better than most men, he adapted so well. And while his life was going crazy her still made sure Soraya knew that he needed and wanted her. He’s a good egg.
I really didn’t want it to end. There was so much going on that i didn’t want it to stop, i wanted to see how things developed. I needed to see how things went. With Graham, Soraya, Chloe, Graham’s Grandma. Everyone! I needed more of everyone. I was gutted when it ended. I wasn’t ready.
“I love you, too, Suit. I think I fell in love with you before I even met you.”
It was so amazing, you’d be crazy to not want to read it. Best book so far.
