Description..

‘Austin Rogers’s dreams of domestic bliss involved watching Netflix and eating hot dogs with the love of her life. But then he cheated on her. And dumped her—as if the whole thing was her fault. To maintain her pride and restore her sanity, she decides to get revenge. It feels immensely satisfying to plot her ex’s downfall—but so does kissing him.

Thatch Holloway, a plastic surgeon straight out of residency, knows he ruined the best thing that ever happened to him. But not all cheaters are created equal. He got himself into this messed-up situation—true—but he has his reasons for what happened, and he’d do it all again to protect Austin.

He’s not over her. And she’s not over him.

Austin wants closure, but since Thatch refuses to give it to her, she takes matters into her own hands. She needs to write a human-interest piece for her MBA, so she demands the full plastic-surgery experience. Sparks fly as they’re forced to work together. But Thatch isn’t afraid to play dirty in return. And he’s still hiding something—something that has the power to destroy not only Austin but their second chance at finding forever…’

Okay. So i haven’t read the first book in the series. I know. I know. I’m regretting it now. The first book just didn’t, i just didn’t feel it you know? Must of been summa about the description or i just wasn’t feeling a book about cheaters that day. Well, i really wished, really really wished that i read it because i absolutely loved this book. It has to be in my top 10 faves now.

Thatch, oh Thatch you poor unfortunate soul. If you just told truth at the start none of this would’ve happened.

Austin was bad-ass, the shit Thatch said to her would of broke most girls but she held her head high, even though on the inside she was so hurt. And that takes balls.

“I’ll slit your tires again and get you a pet frog.”

From the start it was hilarious, the stuff Austin came up with to get revenge, Thatch’s fears, oh god his fears. His fears were ridiculous, but oh so funny. They went together so well, it was a shame that they were fighting for more than half the book.

“He looks like his face was lit on fire.”

The reason Thatch ended it with Austin shocked me, i didn’t see that coming. And i alllways see whats coming! I couldn’t believe it. Austin’s dad was disgusting, what he done was disgusting. Family first, always.

It dragged, some bits were over crazy, didn’t seem believable at times, story-line was all over the shot but somehow this book was still amazing. I was still sucked in and glued to every page. I definitely think i’m going to go back and read the first book as Avery and Lucas were amazing and so funny as well, would like to see how they got together as in this book you find out a little of what happened.

“I would never Harry Potter you!”

So if you’re looking for a funny, light read with a twist to get you through the evening, then this one is definitely for you. You wont ‘regret’ it 😉
