Holy crap, this book had me crying! Violet is fucking hilarious, the shit she comes out with, and the god awful names for Alex’s penis. The girl, literally, doesn’t give a fuck and will say what is needed, when it’s needed. Or when it really, really doesn’t. I legit love her.
Alex is, well, really weird. At times. But i think him being that way, made him so good. He had that way about him. He is funny, smart, hot and had a penis so big it looked like it had “elephantiasis”(Violet’s words, not mine)
These two are literally perfect together, i loved how they worked through anything that was thrown at them. And they truly loved each other, even though Violet nearly killed Super MC.
“Oh! Oh god! I’m suffocating Super MC”
“Your snuffle is suffering! I’ll be careful.”
Helena is something else, who even comes up with this shit. It just kept getting better and better as it went on, and i really didn’t want it too ever stop. It’s the best thing i have read in a while. I keep thinking about parts of the book and find myself laughing out loud.
“You made a cape for my dick?” – Oh My Jesus! I lost my shit at this bit, how on earth does Alex put up with her, i don’t know!
Miller was such a good character too, he was so protective of Violet. I loved how easy and comfortable it was for him and Violet to be around each other and the banter was un-real. Those two killed me with the shit they say to each other. Especially Violet, She overshares waay too much to Buck.
“So are venereal diseases. You don’t hear me lecturing you on your whoreness.”
This is another one i have re-read many many times and i don’t think ill stop re-reading it anytime soon. I could never get bored of Violet. I could literally talk about this book all day but my daughter keeps giving me the side eye as i have to play ‘right this minute’ so i best stop and go do my Mummy duties.
Helena Hunting please never ever stop writing! I absolutely loved Pucked and cant wait for more!
