Description..

‘ There are three little words most guys don’t want to hear on the first date. Not those…I mean these… “knock me up.”

This single gal has had enough of the games, the BS and the endless chase. I know what I want most, and it’s not true love. It’s a bun in the oven, and I’m not afraid to hit up my sex-on-a-stick co-worker to do the job. Ryder is gorgeous, witty and charming — and he’s also a notorious commitment-phobe.

That makes him the perfect candidate to make a deposit in the bank of me.I won’t fall for him, he won’t fall for me, and there’s no way baby will make three.Right? There are four words every guy wants to hear on the first date — “your place or mine?”When my hot-as-sin co-worker makes me a no-strings-attached offer that involves her place, my place, any place — as well as any position — I can’t refuse. Besides, I’ve got my own reasons to take her up on her deal even with her one BIG condition.

There’s no way I’ll want more from one woman than any position, any where, any night? Except . . . what if I do?’

This description and cover had me jumping in my seat. Hot dude? Check.  Woman who knows what she wants and ain’t scared to go for it? Check Check. Little Baby? Chhheck! I looove books about baby’s. Sounds like its gunna be an awesome read? Chchcheck.

So obviously i couldn’t wait to me my hands on this one.

I had high hopes for this book as I have read many other books by Lauren Blakey but it just didn’t do it for me. It had it all there, hot dude who falls in love. Independent woman who actually falls for the guy, who which she just wanted his sperm. Cute doggies. And baby making, which was hot with a capital H.

Nicole and Ryder are co-workers for the same company so they knew each other quite well, so when Nicole decided that the thing missing in her life is actually to have a family on her own. Herself, baby and Ruby. So when it came down to it she couldn’t find a donor, she came up with the idea of asking Ryder Lockhart for his DNA.

‘”Would you help me?” Ryder freezes. The bald man does, too.

The bottle of the red condiment hovers behind Ryder’s handsome head.

I’ve shocked even the patrons surrounding us at Wendy’s diner.’

Nicole then agrees to go on 10 dates with Ryder for his radio show. The dates were interesting and some bits funny. I feel that this book dragged a lot for me in some parts, it took me a couple of days to finish and I even actually debated not finishing it at all, which is so not me. Normally I’m a one day kinda girl, I need to feel like I’m in there with them and not want to ever leave.

But I just couldn’t sink into this book, which is sad as like I said it sounded so good and had potential. I’m glad I did finish as I got to see them come together and be a family at the end of the book which i loved. I am such a sap when it comes to happy endings, but I don’t think I’ll ever re-read this one.
